Miss Pippa

Introducing.....Miss Pippa the Beaver.

And do you know what that means?  It means that as of this post, ALL of my outstanding custom orders are now complete.  Good job, me!

PS: If you love Pippa like I love Pippa, although she's personally spoken for already, you can find a small colony of beavers in my shop here.

PPS: Since I had to google what a group of beavers was called (definitely not a herd...or a gaggle...and those were the only two my Sunday brain was coming up with...) I found this awesome article on beavers.  Points I found pretty interesting: Native Americans called the beaver "the sacred center" b/c they had such a large impact on the habitat and affected so many of their fellow critters (in a good way).  On that same point, according to this article, only humans and elephants have as big of an impact on their environment as beavers do.  Busy little beavers is right!  Also, they're one of the members of the animal kingdom that mates for life.  How cute is that?

Ooh she's a soon as I saw this post (I was still checking out all of your blog links in the previous post) I immediately zipped over to Etsy to claim both my little darlings (sadly, I didn't even wait for your email, but I can't wait for them to come home to mama). Hooray! Thank you for being so sweet in creating these for me, and thanks for the little "extra" in Pip's share-able acorn pin.

I can't get over how adorable this is. I went through your shop to see more examples and my favorite part is the tail with its two sides of fabric. So clever!
